Manchester Museum Object Handling volunteers engage with visitors, using in the main original objects and specimens from the Museum’s collection.  They tell the stories behind the objects to create and develop an extended conversation around the object, the gallery it connects with and its place in the museum.

 

Dependant on Volunteer Availability we have 6 Object Handling tables operating currently (Manchester, Ancient Worlds, Living Worlds, Fossils, Money and Pliny Nature Through Roman Eyes) 11am -3pm everyday
